Extreme Cliffjumping

The is my favorite of the four images I chose from the National Geographic Best of 2016, and was taken by photographer Corey Arnold in Glacier National Park. This image really fascinates me due to the very bright color palette, the use of the rule of thirds to emphasize the diver, and the overall beauty of nature. I like the use of symmetry making the narrow pool seem like it goes on forever, and adding further composition as well. The photograph also would surely make any visitor feel a sense ofsatisfaction and admiration towards nature and it fruits.
